Advocate Abde Wahid expresses confidence about a landslide victory in an upcoming Debiganj Pourasava election if he gets the nomination from ruling party.
If I get nominated from Bangladesh Awami League, the people of Debiganj will elect me with a huge margin. I am the son of Debiganj and the Debiganj residents are my relatives from the soul. He told Bangladesh Times in an exclusive interview.
He said, I am cent percent confident about getting the nomination from the party because I am actively involved with Chatra League Politics since my school days. After that, being affiliated with Swechchasebak League, I have continued my dedication toward the party and the Debiganj Pourasava residents.
He also said, Nurul Islam Sujan MP has been my Idol since boyhood. I saw him serve people. He lends his hand whenever the people of Panchagar need his help. His clean image inspired me to join politics.
About his development plan, he said, If I get elected as a Mayor, I will take steps to eradicate unemployment in Debiganj and this will solve most of the problems automatically. At the same time, I will take effective action to stop road accidents in Debiganj. Already road lamps are installed in many places in Debiganj. But still if there is a need for that, then I will take care of it. I strongly believe Rail Minister Nurul Islam Sujan MP will whole heartedly support my development plans.
He also added that, there was a Children’s Park in Debiganj, but now it is closed. I will take necessary steps to reopen it. Besides that, I am willing to involve in various development work in the instruction of Nurul Islam Sujan and other respected local citizens and leaders.
